As a die-hard Mavericks fan, I am beyond thrilled to welcome Kyrie Irving to the team! The trade with the Brooklyn Nets is just waiting on the standard NBA call to be finalized, but once it is, Kyrie will be joining forces with the young superstar Luka Doncic.
Kyrie has been an 8-time All-Star and has proven his talent time and time again. With contract talks for next season not working out in Brooklyn, he expressed his desire for a fresh start and now he’ll have that chance in Dallas. I can’t wait to see what he’ll bring to the court alongside Luka.
And while all of this excitement is happening, LeBron James is making a run to become the NBA’s all-time leading scorer. With just 35 points separating him from Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s record, LeBron is averaging an impressive 30 points per game.
